حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " أَفْضَلُ الأَعْمَالِ - أَوِ الْعَمَلِ - الصَّلاَةُ لِوَقْتِهَا وَبِرُّ الْوَالِدَيْنِ " .
English Translation
Al-Hasan ibn Ubaydullah, a student of Abu Amr al-Shaybani, narrated the same tradition that Hadrat Abdullah (ibn Mas'ud) (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), who stated: The most excellent of deeds — or deed — is the prayer at its proper time and good conduct towards parents.
Urdu Translation
ابو عمرو شیبانی سے ان کے ایک شاگرد حسن بن عبید اللہ نے یہی روایت بیان کی کہ حضرت عبد اللہ (بن مسعود) رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے روایت کی کہ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: سب سے افضل اعمال (یا عمل) وقت پر نماز پڑھنا اور والدین سے حسنِ سلوک کرنا ہیں۔
