وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، مَوْلَى بَنِي مَخْزُومٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ سَجَدَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي { إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ} وَ { اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ}
English Translation
Hadrat Safwan ibn Sulaim narrated from Hadrat 'Abd al-Rahman al-A'raj, the freed slave of Banu Makhzum, who narrated from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), who said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) prostrated while reciting 'When the heaven bursts asunder' (Surah al-Inshiqaq) and 'Read in the name of your Lord' (Surah al-'Alaq).
Urdu Translation
صفوان بن سلیم نے بنو مخزوم کے آزاد کردہ غلام عبد الرحمٰن اعرج سے روایت کی، انہوں نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی، انہوں نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے (اذا السماء انشقت) اور (اقرأ باسم ربک) میں سجدہ کیا۔
