وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «اهْتَزَّ الْعَرْشُ لِمَوْتِ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ»وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: «اهْتَزَّ عَرْشُ الرَّحْمَنِ لِمَوْتِ سَعْدِ ن معَاذ». مُتَّفق عَلَيْهِ
English Translation
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "I saw myself entering Paradise. I saw Abu Talhah's wife there, and I heard footsteps. I asked: 'Who is that?' They said: 'Bilal.' Then I saw a palace with a courtyard, and I asked: 'For whom is this?' They said: 'For 'Umar ibn al-Khattab.' I wanted to enter it and look at it, but I remembered your sense of honor." 'Umar said: "May my father and mother be sacrificed for you, O Messenger of Allah! Would I show jealousy toward you?" Agreed upon.
Urdu Translation
جابر رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، میں نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا:”سعد بن معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ کی وفات پر عرش ہل گیا تھا۔“ایک دوسری روایت میں ہے:”سعد بن معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ کی موت پر رحمن کا عرش ہل گیا تھا۔“متفق علیہ۔[مشكوة المصابيح/كتاب المناقب/حدیث: 6206]
