عَن عقبةَ بن الْحَارِث قَالَ: صَلَّى أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْعَصْرَ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ يَمْشِي وَمَعَهُ عَلِيٌّ فَرَأَى الْحَسَنَ يَلْعَبُ مَعَ الصِّبْيَانِ فَحَمَلَهُ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ. وَقَالَ: بِأَبِي شَبِيهٌ بِالنَّبِيِّ لَيْسَ شَبِيهًا بِعَلِيٍّ وَعَلِيٌّ يَضْحَكُ. رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ
English Translation
Buraydah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah the Blessed and Exalted has commanded me to love four persons and has informed me that He loves them." It was asked: "O Messenger of Allah, name them for us." He said: "'Ali is among them" - saying it three times - "and Abu Dharr, al-Miqdad, and Salman. He has commanded me to love them and informed me that He loves them." Reported by Tirmidhi, and he said: This is a hasan gharib hadith.
Urdu Translation
عقبہ بن حارث رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے نماز عصر پڑھی، پھر باہر نکلے تو علی رضی اللہ عنہ بھی ان کے ساتھ چل رہے تھے، ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے حسن رضی اللہ عنہ کو بچوں کے ساتھ کھیلتا ہوا دیکھا تو انہیں اپنے کندھے پر اٹھا لیا، اور فرمایا: میرے والد قربان ہوں، اس کی نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے مشابہت ہے، علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے مشابہت نہیں، (یہ بات سن کر) علی رضی اللہ عنہ مسکرا دیئے۔ رواہ البخاری۔[مشكوة المصابيح/كتاب المناقب/حدیث: 6178]
