وَعَن أَسمَاء بنت يزِيد بن السَّكن قَالَتْ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يَمْكُثُ الدَّجَّالُ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً السَّنَةُ كَالشَّهْرِ وَالشَّهْرُ كَالْجُمُعَةِ وَالْجُمُعَةُ كَالْيَوْمِ وَالْيَوْمُ كَاضْطِرَامِ السَّعَفَةِ فِي النَّارِ». رَوَاهُ فِي «شَرْحِ السُّنَّةِ»
English Translation
Ubadah ibn al-Samit reported: We pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) to listen and obey in ease and hardship, in things pleasing and displeasing to us, and not to dispute the authority of those in charge, and to speak or stand for the truth wherever we might be, not fearing the blame of any blamer for the sake of Allah. Agreed upon.
Urdu Translation
اسماؑ بنت یزید بن سکن رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتی ہیں، نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا:”دجال زمین پر چالیس سال رہے گا، سال مہینے کی طرح، مہینہ جمعے (ہفتے یعنی سات دن) کی طرح، جمعہ (یعنی ہفتہ) دن کی طرح اور دن آگ میں تنکے کے جل جانے کی مانند ہو گا۔“اسنادہ حسن، رواہ فی شرح السنہ۔[مشكوة المصابيح/كتاب الفتن/حدیث: 5489]
