وَعَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " رَأَيْتُ فِي الْمَنَامِ أَنِّي أُهَاجِرُ مِنْ مَكَّةَ إِلَى أَرْضٍ بِهَا نَخْلٌ فَذَهَبَ وَهْلِي إِلَى أَنَّهَا الْيَمَامَةُ أَوْ هَجَرُ فَإِذَا هِيَ الْمَدِينَةُ يَثْرِبُ وَرَأَيْتُ فِي رُؤْيَايَ هَذِهِ: أَنِّي هَزَزْتُ سَيْفًا فَانْقَطَعَ صَدْرُهُ فَإِذَا هُوَ مَا أُصِيبَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ ثُمَّ هَزَزْتُهُ أُخْرَى فعادَ أحسنَ مَا كانَ فإِذا هوَ جَاءَ اللَّهُ بِهِ مِنَ الْفَتْحِ وَاجْتِمَاعِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ "
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Musa reported the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) as saying:“I saw in a dream that I was emigrating from Mecca to a land containing palm-trees and I conjectured that it was to al-Yamama or to Hajar, but it was the city of Yathrib.* In this vision of mine I saw that I brandished a sword and the front part of it was cut off; this represented those believers who were smitten at the battle of Uhud. I brandished it again and it was restored to perfect condition; and this represented the victory and the community of believers which God brought about.”** (Bukhari and Muslim.) * The old name of Medina. ** Probably a reference to the Conquest of Mecca and the numbers who accepted Islam. Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: میں نے خواب میں دیکھا کہ میں مکہ سے ایسی سرزمین کی طرف ہجرت کر رہا ہوں جہاں کھجور کے درخت ہیں۔ میرا خیال گیا کہ وہ یمامہ ہے یا ہجر، لیکن وہ مدینہ (یثرب) نکلا۔ اور اسی خواب میں میں نے دیکھا کہ میں نے تلوار ہلائی تو اس کا اگلا حصہ ٹوٹ گیا، یہ وہ نقصان تھا جو جنگ احد میں مسلمانوں کو پہنچا۔ پھر میں نے دوبارہ ہلایا تو وہ پہلے سے بہتر ہو گئی، یہ وہ فتح تھی جو اللہ تعالیٰ نے عطا فرمائی اور مسلمانوں کا اجتماع تھا۔ بخاری و مسلم نے روایت کیا۔
