Arabic (Original)
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " الْإِيمَانُ بضع وَسَبْعُونَ شُعْبَة فأفضلها: قَول لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَدْنَاهَا: إِمَاطَةُ الْأَذَى عَن الطَّرِيق والحياة شُعْبَة من الايمان "
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying, “Faith has over seventy branches, the most excellent of which is the declaration that there is no god but God, and the humblest of which is the removal of what is injurious from the road. And modesty is a branch of faith.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: ایمان کی ستر سے زائد شاخیں ہیں، ان میں سب سے افضل لا الہ الا اللہ کہنا ہے اور سب سے کم تر راستے سے تکلیف دہ چیز ہٹانا ہے اور حیا ایمان کی ایک شاخ ہے۔ (بخاری و مسلم)
