Arabic (Original)
وَعَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الْعُمْرَى جَائِزَةٌ لِأَهْلِهَا وَالرُّقْبَى جَائِزَةٌ لِأَهْلِهَا» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمد وَالتِّرْمِذِيّ وَأَبُو دَاوُد
English Translation
Hadrat He reported the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) as saying, “Both life-tenancy and giving property which goes to the survivor are a gift which belongs to those who receive it." Ahmad, Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud transmitted it.
Urdu Translation
حضرت جابر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نبی صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے روایت فرماتے ہیں کہ آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: عمریٰ والوں کے لیے جائز ہے اور رقبیٰ بھی والوں کے لیے جائز ہے۔ (احمد، ترمذی، حضرت ابوداؤد)
