Arabic (Original)
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " خَمْسٌ لَا جُنَاحَ عَلَى من قتلَهُنّ فِي الْحل وَالْإِحْرَامِ: الْفَأْرَةُ وَالْغُرَابُ وَالْحِدَأَةُ وَالْعَقْرَبُ وَالْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ "
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn ‘Umar reported the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) as saying, “There are five creatures which it is not a sin for anyone to kill in the sacred territory and when in the sacred state:the rat, the crow, the kite, the scorpion and the biting dog." Bukhari and Muslim.
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: پانچ جانور ہیں جنہیں حل اور احرام میں مارنے میں کوئی گناہ نہیں: چوہا، کوّا، چیل، بچھو اور کاٹنے والا کتا۔ (بخاری و مسلم)
