English Translation

Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) fell from a horse and his right side was grazed. He prayed one of the prayers sitting, and we prayed behind him sitting. When he finished, he said: "The Imam is appointed to be followed. When he prays standing, pray standing. When he bows, bow. When he raises his head, raise your heads. When he says 'Sami'Allahu liman hamidah,' say 'Rabbana lakal-hamd.' When he prays sitting, pray sitting, all of you."
