Arabic (Original)
1250 صحيح حديث مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: لاَ يَزَالُ مِنْ أُمَّتِي أُمَّةٌ قَائِمَةٌ بِأَمْرِ اللهِ لاَ يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ خَذَلَهُمْ وَلاَ مَنْ خَالَفَهُمْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَهُمْ أَمْرُ اللهِ وَهُمْ عَلَى ذلِكَ
English Translation
Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: Angels came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) while he was sleeping. Some said: "He is sleeping." Others said: "His eyes sleep but his heart is awake." They said: "There is an example for this companion of yours." Some said: "He is sleeping." Others said: "His eyes sleep but his heart is awake." They said: "His example is that of a man who built a house and prepared a feast in it, and sent a caller. Whoever responded to the caller entered the house and ate from the feast. Whoever did not respond to the caller did not enter the house and did not eat from the feast." They said: "Interpret it for him so he may understand." Some said: "He is sleeping." Others said: "His eyes sleep but his heart is awake." They said: "The house is Paradise, the caller is Muhammad (peace be upon him). Whoever obeys Muhammad has obeyed Allah, and whoever disobeys Muhammad has disobeyed Allah. Muhammad is the divider between the people."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا معاویہ بن ابی سفیان رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے رسول کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے سنا تھا، آپ فرما رہے تھے:”میری امت میں ہمیشہ ایک گروہ ایسا موجود رہے گا جو اللہ تعالیٰ کی شریعت پر قائم رہے گا، انہیں ذلیل کرنے کی کوشش کرنے والے اور اسی طرح ان کی مخالفت کرنے والے انہیں کوئی نقصان نہ پہنچا سکیں گے یہاں تک کہ قیامت آ جائے گی اور وہ اسی حالت پر رہیں گے۔“[اللؤلؤ والمرجان/كتاب الإمارة/حدیث: 1250]
