English Translation

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: A man from the Muslims came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) while he was in the mosque. He called out: "O Messenger of Allah, I have committed fornication." The Prophet turned away from him. The man moved to face the direction the Prophet had turned and said again: "O Messenger of Allah, I have committed fornication." The Prophet turned away again. The man repeated it four times. When the man had testified against himself four times, the Prophet called him and asked: "Are you mad?" He said: "No." He asked: "Are you married?" He said: "Yes." The Prophet said: "Take him away and stone him."
