Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا دَلْهَمُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْكِنْدِيُّ، عَنْ حُجَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْكِنْدِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ النَّجَاشِيَّ، أَهْدَى لِلنَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ خُفَّيْنِ أَسْوَدَيْنِ سَاذَجَيْنِ فَلَبِسَهُمَا ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَيْهِمَا .
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat Abu Buraidah from his father (may Allah be well pleased with him) that:An-Najashi gave the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) a gift of a pair of plain black leather socks. He put them on, then he (performed ablution and) wiped over them
Urdu Translation
حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ نجاشی نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو دو سیاہ سادے موزے بطور ہدیہ پیش کئے، آپ نے انہیں پہنا، پھر وضو کیا اور ان پر مسح کیا۔
