حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَرَّاقُ، حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ الْقُرَظِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " إِنَّ لِكُلِّ دِينٍ خُلُقًا وَإِنَّ خُلُقَ الإِسْلاَمِ الْحَيَاءُ " .
English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated:“Every religion has its distinct characteristic, and the distinct characteristic of Islam is modesty.’”
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: ہر دین کا ایک اخلاق ہوتا ہے، اور اسلام کا اخلاق حیاء ہے ۔
