Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " لاَ يَرْجِعُ الْمُصَدِّقُ إِلاَّ عَنْ رِضًا " .
English Translation
Hadrat Jarir bin Abdullah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “The Zakat collector should not come back unless the people are pleased with him.”
Urdu Translation
حضرت جریر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: عامل زکاۃ لوگوں کو خوش رکھ کر ہی واپس جائے ۱؎۔
