حَدَّثَنَاابْنُ الْمُقْرِئِ، قَالَ: ثَنَاسُفْيَانُ، عَنِالزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْسَالِمٍ، عَنْأَبِيهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" وَقَّتَ لأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ، وَلأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ، وَلأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنًا"، وَذُكِرَ لِي، وَلَمْ أَسْمَعْ أَنَّهُ وَقَّتَ لأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ.
English Translation
Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) designated Dhul-Hulayfah as the miqat for the people of Madinah, al-Juhfah for the people of Syria, and Qarn for the people of Najd. He said: It was mentioned to me — though I did not hear it directly — that he designated Yalamlam for the people of Yemen.

سیدنا عبد اللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اہل مدینہ کے لیے ذوالحلیفہ، اہل شام کے لیے جحفہ، اہل نجد کے لیے قرن کو میقات مقرر کیا اور میں نے سنا نہیں، بلکہ مجھے بتایا گیا ہے کہ آپ نے اہل یمن کے لیے یلملم کو میقات مقرر کیا ہے۔[المنتقى ابن الجارود/كتاب المناسك/حدیث: 412]
