أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْبُخَارِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي خَالِي مَالِكٌ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا دَعَا أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُعْظِمِ الرَّغْبَةَ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَتَعَاظَمُ عَلَى اللَّهِ شَيْءٌ»
English Translation
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'One prayer in my mosque is better than a thousand prayers in any other mosque, except the Sacred Mosque.'
