أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا حَيْوَةُ عَنِ ابْنِ الْهَادِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ عُمَيْرٍ مَوْلَى أَبِي اللَّحْمِ أَنَّهُ «رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَسْتَسْقِي عِنْدَ أَحْجَارِ الزَّيْتِ قَرِيبًا مِنَ الزَّوْرَاءِ قَائِمًا يَدْعُو يَسْتَسْقِي رَافِعًا كَفَّيْهِ لَا يُجَاوِزُ بِهِمَا رَأْسَهُ مُقْبِلًا بِبَاطِنِ كَفِّهِ إِلَى وَجْهِهِ»
English Translation
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'If people knew what is in the Adhan and the first row, and they had no other way of attaining it except by drawing lots, they would draw lots.'
