أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ الصَّوَّافُ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ قَالَ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ * وَبِحَمْدِهِ غُرِسَتْ لَهُ بِهِ نَخْلَةٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ»
English Translation
Hadrat Abdullah ibn Busr (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated: Two Bedouins came to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). One of them said: «O Messenger of Allah, tell me of something I can hold fast to.» He stated: «Let not your tongue cease from being moist with the remembrance of Allah.»
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن بسر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ دو اعرابی نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے۔ ان میں سے ایک نے عرض کیا: «یا رسول اللہ! مجھے کوئی ایسی چیز بتائیے جسے میں مضبوطی سے پکڑ سکوں۔» آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: «تمہاری زبان اللہ کے ذکر سے تر رہے۔»
