أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي الْمُهَاجِرِ عَنْ مَيْسَرَةَ مَوْلَى فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَلَّهُ أَشَدُّ أَذَنَا إِلَى الرَّجُلِ الْحَسَنِ الصَّوْتِ بِالْقُرْآنِ مِنْ صَاحِبِ الْقَيْنَةِ إِلَى قَيْنَتِهِ»
English Translation
Ahmad bin Ali bin al-Muthanna narrated to us, Mu'tamir bin Sulayman narrated to us, he said: I heard Dawud from Abu Harb bin Abi al-Aswad from his father from Abu Musa al-Ash'ari who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'The parable of the one who glorifies his Lord and the one who does not glorify his Lord is like the living and the dead.'
