أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يُوسُفَ بْنِ حِمَاسٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَتُتْرَكَنَّ الْمَدِينَةُ عَلَى أَحْسَنِ مَا كَانَتْ حَتَّى يَدْخُلَ الْكَلْبُ فَيُغَذِّي عَلَى بَعْضِ سَوَارِي الْمَسْجِدِ أَوْ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ» قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَلِمَنْ تَكُونُ الثِّمَارُ ذَلِكَ الزَّمَانَ؟ قَالَ «لِلْعَوَافِي الطَّيْرِ وَالسِّبَاعِ»
English Translation
Abdullah bin Qahtabah narrated to us, he said: al-Hasan bin Qaza'ah narrated to us, he said: Sufyan bin Habib narrated to us from Humayd al-Tawil from Bakr bin Abdullah al-Muzani from Ibn Umar who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Make the most of (visiting) this House, for it has been destroyed twice, and will be raised up the third time (on the Day of Judgment).'
