أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَوْمًا أَلَا أُحَدِّثُكُمْ بِحَدِيثٍ لَا يُحَدِّثُكُمْ بِهِ أَحَدٌ بَعْدِي سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ؟ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ أَوْ مِنْ شَرَائِطِ السَّاعَةِ أَنْ يُرْفَعَ الْعِلْمُ وَيَكْثُرَ الْجَهْلُ وَيُشْرَبَ ��لْخَمْرُ وَيَظْهَرَ الزِّنَى وَيَقِلَّ الرِّجَالُ وَتَكْثُرَ النِّسَاءُ حَتَّى يَكُونَ لِخَمْسِينَ امْرَأَةً قَيِّمٌ وَاحِدٌ»
English Translation
Ahmad bin Ali bin al-Muthanna narrated to us, he said: Abu Khaythamah narrated to us, he said: Yahya bin Sa'id narrated to us from Shu'bah, he said: Qatadah narrated to me from Abdullah bin Abi Utbah from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'There will come upon my nation a time when you will wish you had seen me, and one of you would give up his family and wealth for the sake of seeing me.'
