أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا كَامِلُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي نَعَامَةَ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ الْمُغَفَّلِ سَمِعَ ابْنًا لَهُ يَقُولُ فِي دُعَائِهِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْقَصْرَ الْأَبْيَضَ عَنْ يَمِينِ الْجَنَّةِ إِذَا دَخَلْتُهَا قَالَ أَيْ بُنَيَّ سَلِ اللَّهَ الْجَنَّةَ وَتَعَوَّذْ بِهِ مِنَ النَّارِ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «سَيَكُونُ فِي هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ قَوْمٌ يَعْتَدُونَ فِي الدُّعَاءِ وَالطُّهُورِ»
English Translation
Abu Ya'la informed us, Kamil ibn Talhah narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us from Sa'id al-Jurayri from Abu Na'amah who said: We were with Abu Sa'id, and we mentioned the Dajjal. Abu Sa'id said: I will tell you what I heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). He will emerge, and a man from among the most excellent of people or from among the best of people will go out to him and say to him: I testify that you are the Dajjal whom the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) told us about. The Dajjal will say: What do you think if I kill this one and then bring him back to life, would you have any doubt? They will say: No. So he will kill him and then bring him back to life. When he brings him back to life, he will say: By Allah, I am only more certain of you than I was. The Dajjal will want to kill him but will not be able to.
