أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ عَنْ قِرَاءَةِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «كَانَ ﷺ يَمُدُّ صَوْتَهُ مَدًّا»
English Translation
Hadrat Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be well pleased with him) was asked about the recitation of the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). He said: "He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would elongate his voice."
Urdu Translation
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی قراءت کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا تو فرمایا: "آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم آواز کو لمبا کرتے تھے۔"
