أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَرَّ بِرَجُلٍ يَعِظُ أَخَاهُ فِي الْحَيَاءِ فقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «دَعْهُ فَإِنَّ الْحَيَاءَ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ»
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) passed by a man who was admonishing his brother about modesty, so the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: «Leave him, for indeed modesty is part of faith.»
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا گزر ایک آدمی پر ہوا جو اپنے بھائی کو حیا کے بارے میں نصیحت کر رہا تھا، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: «اسے چھوڑ دو، کیونکہ بے شک حیا ایمان کا حصہ ہے۔»
