Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ «أَنَّهُ صَادَ أَرْنَبَيْنِ فَذَبَحَهُمَا بِمَرْوَةٍ فَسَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَأَمَرَهُ بِأَكْلِهِمَا»
English Translation
It is narrated from Muhammad ibn Safwan al-Ansari (may Allah be well pleased with him) «that he caught two rabbits and slaughtered them with a sharp stone. He asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he commanded him to eat them.»
Urdu Translation
محمد بن صفوان انصاری رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے «کہ انہوں نے دو خرگوش پکڑے اور انہیں تیز پتھر سے ذبح کیا۔ انہوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے پوچھا تو آپ نے انہیں کھانے کا حکم دیا۔»
