English Translation

Abu Yahya ibn Abi Masarrah narrated to us, Bishr ibn Mufaddal al-Raqqi narrated to us, Abd al-Rahman ibn Ishaq narrated to us from al-Zuhri, from Urwah, from Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: «The army will set out toward the Kabah, and when they are in the desert, the first of them and the last of them will be swallowed up by the earth.» She said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, how will the first of them and the last of them be swallowed up when among them are their marketplaces and those who are not of them? He said: «The first of them and the last of them will be swallowed up, then they will be resurrected according to their intentions.»
