أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ حَلَفَ بِاللَّاتِ وَالْعُزَّى فَلْيَقُلْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَمَنْ قَالَ لِصَاحِبِهِ تَعَالَ أُقَامِرْكَ فَلْيَتَصَدَّقْ بِشَيْءٍ»
English Translation
Ibn Qutaybah narrated to us, Ibn Abi al-Sariy narrated to us, Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar informed us from al-Zuhri, from Humayd ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: «Whoever swears by al-Lat and al-Uzza, let him say: There is no god but Allah. And whoever says to his companion: Come, let me gamble with you, let him give something in charity.»
