English Translation
Al-Hasan ibn Sufyan informed us, al-Hasan ibn Umar ibn Shaqiq narrated to us, Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Ikrima, from Ibn Abbas who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever makes an image, Allah will punish him until he breathes into it, but he will not breathe into it. Whoever eavesdrops on the conversation of a people who flee from him, molten lead will be poured into his ears on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever claims a dream will be tasked with tying together two grains of barley, but he will not do it.'
