أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ الصُّوفِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنُ بْنُ عِيسَى عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَمْ يُصَافِحِ امْرَأَةً قَطُّ»
English Translation
Al-Hasan ibn Sufyan informed us, he said: Abdullah ibn Ja'far al-Raqqi narrated to us, he said: Ubaydullah ibn Musa narrated to us, he said: Isra'il informed us, from Simak ibn Harb, from Jabir ibn Samura, who said: The people complained to the Prophet ﷺ about the length of Mu'adh's prayer. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'O Mu'adh, you are a trial-maker, you are a trial-maker.' He said: And he commanded him with: By the sun (Surat al-Shams) and Glorify the name of your Lord (Surat al-A'la).
