أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُتْبَةُ بْنُ أَبِي حَكِيمٍ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ مُوسَى عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى فَرْجِ امْرَأَتِهِ فَقَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَنْهَا عَطَاءً فَقَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَنْهَا عَائِشَةَ فَقَالَتْ «كُنْتُ اغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَحِبِّي ﷺ مِنَ الْإِنَاءِ الْوَاحِدِ تَخْتَلِفُ فِيهِ أَكُفُّنَا» وَأَشَارَتْ إِلَى إِنَاءٍ فِي الْبَيْتِ قَدْرَ سِتَّةِ أَقْسَاطٍ
English Translation
Abdullah ibn Muhammad al-Azdi informed us, he said: Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, he said: Jarir informed us, from Mansur, from al-Hakam, from Abdul Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from Ali ibn Abi Talib, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray before the afternoon prayer four rak'ahs, separating between them with the greeting upon the angels brought near and whoever follows them of the believers and Muslims.
