أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ بُرَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ احْتَرَقَ بَيْتٌ بِالْمَدِينَةِ عَلَى أَهْلِهِ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَلَمَّا حُدِّثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِشَأْنِهِمْ قَالَ ﷺ «إِنَّ هَذِهِ النَّارَ إِنَّمَا هِيَ عَدُوُّكُمْ فَإِذَا نِمْتُمْ فَأَطْفِئُوهَا عَنْكُمْ»
English Translation
Abu Ya'la informed us, he said: Abu Kurayb narrated to us, he said: Abu Usama narrated to us, from Burayd, from Abu Burda, from Abu Musa, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The dwellers of Paradise will eat and drink therein, but they will not spit, nor pass water, nor have any nasal secretions, nor any need to pass stool. Their food will be digested producing belching which will give out a smell like that of musk. They will be inspired to glorify and praise Allah as you are inspired to breathe."
