أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَأَى صَبِيًّا حُلِقَ بَعْضُ شَعْرِهِ وَتُرِكَ بَعْضُهُ فَنَهَى عَنْ ذَلِكَ وَقَالَ «احْلِقُوهُ كُلَّهُ أَوِ اتْرُكُوهُ كُلَّهُ»
English Translation
Abdullah ibn Muhammad al-Azdi informed us, he said: Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, he said: Abdul Razzaq narrated to us, he said: Ma'mar informed us, from Ayyub, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar, that the Prophet ﷺ saw a boy whose hair was partially shaved and partially left. So he forbade that and said: "Shave it all or leave it all."
