أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ نَذِيرٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ أَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِعَضَلَةِ سَاقِي فَقَالَ «هَاهُنَا مَوْضِعُ الْإِزَارِ فَإِنْ أَبَيْتَ فَهَاهُنَا وَلَا حَقَّ لِلْإِزَارِ فِي الْكَعْبَيْنِ»
English Translation
Abu Khalifah narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Kathir narrated to us, Sufyan informed us from Abu Ishaq from Muslim ibn Nadhir from Hudhayfah who said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) took hold of the muscle of my leg and said: «Here is the place for the lower garment; if you refuse, then here (lower); but the lower garment has no right over the ankles.»
Urdu Translation
ابوخلیفہ نے ہمیں خبر دی، محمد بن کثیر نے ہمیں حدیث بیان کی، سفیان نے ابواسحاق سے، انہوں نے مسلم بن نذیر سے، انہوں نے حذیفہ سے روایت کی، انہوں نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے میری پنڈلی کا گوشت پکڑا اور فرمایا: «یہاں تہبند کی جگہ ہے، اگر تم انکار کرو تو یہاں (نیچے)، لیکن ٹخنوں پر تہبند کا کوئی حق نہیں۔»
