أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ السَّعْدِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو وَسَمِعَهُ مِنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبِي لِأُمِّي لَوْ صَنَعْتِ طَعَامًا لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَصَنَعَتْ ثَرِيدَةً وَقَالَ بِيَدِهِ هَك��ذَا يُقَلِّلُهَا فَانْطَلَقَ أَبِي فَدَعَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَوَضَعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَدَهُ عَلَى ذِرْوَتِهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ «خُذُوا بِاسْمِ اللَّهِ» فَأَخَذُوا مِنْ نَوَاحِيهَا فَلَمَّا طَعِمُوا دَعَا لَهُمْ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَارْحَمْهُمْ وَبَارِكْ لَهُمْ فِي رِزْقِهِمْ»
English Translation
Hadrat Abdullah ibn Busr (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated: My father said to my mother: If only you would prepare some food for the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)! So she prepared a small amount of tharid (bread soaked in broth) -- he gestured with his hand indicating a small portion. My father went and invited the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). The Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) placed his hand on its top and stated: "Take, in the name of Allah." They ate from its sides, and when they had eaten, he prayed for them. The Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "O Allah, forgive them, have mercy on them, and bless them in their provision."
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن بسر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے: میرے والد نے میری والدہ سے کہا: کاش تم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے لیے کھانا بناتیں! تو انہوں نے تھوڑا سا ثرید (شوربے میں بھگویا ہوا روٹی) بنایا -- انہوں نے ہاتھ سے اشارہ کر کے تھوڑا بتایا۔ میرے والد گئے اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو دعوت دی۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اپنا دست مبارک اس کی چوٹی پر رکھا اور ارشاد فرمایا: بسم اللہ کہہ کر لو۔ لوگوں نے اس کے اطراف سے کھایا اور جب کھا چکے تو آپ نے ان کے لیے دعا فرمائی۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: اے اللہ! انہیں بخش دے، ان پر رحم فرما اور ان کے رزق میں برکت دے۔
