أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْكَرْخِيُّ بِبَلَدِ الْمَوْصِلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَا أَكْثَرُ مَا يُدْخِلُ النَّاسَ الْجَنَّةَ؟ قَالَ «تَقْوَى اللَّهِ وَحُسْنُ الْخُلُقِ» قِيلَ فَمَا أَكْثَرُ مَا يُدْخِلُ النَّاسَ النَّارَ؟ قَالَ «الْأَجْوَفَانِ الْفَمُ وَالْفَرْجُ»
English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Umamah (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "I guarantee a house in the outskirts of Paradise for one who abandons arguing even if he is right, and a house in the middle of Paradise for one who abandons lying even in jest, and a house in the highest part of Paradise for one who makes his character excellent."
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابو امامہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "میں جنت کے کنارے میں ایک گھر کی ضمانت دیتا ہوں اس کے لیے جو جھگڑا چھوڑ دے اگرچہ وہ حق پر ہو، اور جنت کے بیچ میں ایک گھر اس کے لیے جو مذاق میں بھی جھوٹ چھوڑ دے، اور جنت کے بلند ترین حصے میں ایک گھر اس کے لیے جو اپنے اخلاق کو بہترین بنائے۔"
