أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُغِيرُ عِنْدَ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ فَيَتَسَمَّعُ فَإِنْ سَمِعَ أَذَانًا أَمْسَكَ وَإِلَّا أَغَارَ قَالَ فَاسْتَمَعَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ فَإِذَا رَجُلٌ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ فَقَالَ «الْفِطْرَةُ» فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ فَقَالَ «خَرَجَ مِنَ النَّارِ»
English Translation
Ahmad ibn Ali ibn al-Muthanna informed us, Ubaydullah ibn Mu'adh narrated to us, his father narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us from Abu al-Tayyah who said: I heard Anas say: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «Three characteristics - whoever has them will find the sweetness of faith: that Allah and His Messenger are more beloved to him than anything else, that he loves a person only for Allah's sake, and that he would hate to return to disbelief as he would hate to be thrown into the Fire.»
Urdu Translation
ابو یعلیٰ نے ہمیں بیان کیا، ابو خیثمہ نے ہمیں بیان کیا، جریر نے ہمیں مغیرہ سے بیان کیا، انہوں نے ابراہیم سے، انہوں نے علقمہ سے، انہوں نے عبداللہ سے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: 'جو شخص لوگوں کو دکھانے کے لیے کوئی عمل کرے، اللہ اس کی رسوائی کرے گا، اور جو شخص ریاکاری کرے، اللہ اسے رسوا کرے گا۔'
