أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا النُّعْمَانُ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ عَنْ شُرَحْبِيلَ بْنِ السِّمْطِ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ مَاتَ مُرَابِطًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أُومِنَ عَذَابَ الْقَبْرِ وَنَمَا لَهُ أَجْرُهُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ»
English Translation
Ahmad ibn Ali ibn al-Muthanna informed us, al-Hakam ibn Musa narrated to us, al-Haytham ibn Humayd narrated to us, al-Nu'man narrated to us from Makhul from Shurahbil ibn al-Simt from Hadrat Salman (may Allah be well pleased with him) that he heard the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) state: «Whoever dies while guarding the frontier in the path of Allah will be protected from the punishment of the grave, and his reward will continue to grow until the Day of Resurrection.»
Urdu Translation
احمد بن علی بن المثنیٰ نے ہمیں خبر دی، حکم بن موسیٰ نے ہم سے بیان کیا، ہیثم بن حمید نے ہم سے بیان کیا، نعمان نے ہم سے مکحول سے، انہوں نے شرحبیل بن السمط سے، انہوں نے حضرت سلمان رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا: «جو شخص اللہ کی راہ میں سرحد پر پہرے دیتے ہوئے فوت ہو، اسے قبر کے عذاب سے محفوظ رکھا جائے گا اور اس کا اجر قیامت کے دن تک بڑھتا رہے گا۔»
