أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ أَبِي النَّجُودِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ مَاتَ وَلَيْسَ لَهُ إِمَامٌ مَاتَ مَيْتَةً جَاهِلِيَّةً»
English Translation
Ahmad bin Ali bin Al-Muthanna narrated to us, saying: Yazid bin Harun narrated to us, saying: Ibn Abi Dhi'b narrated to us from Al-Maqburi from Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "When the imam says: 'Not of those who have incurred Your wrath, nor of those who have gone astray,' say: Amin, for whoever's statement coincides with the statement of the angels, his past sins will be forgiven."
