أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ عَبْدًا بَايَعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَلَى الْهِجْرَةِ فَأَتَاهُ سَيِّدُهُ يُرِيدُهُ قَالَ فَاشْتَرَاهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِعَبْدَيْنِ أَسْوَدَيْنِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يُبَايعْ أَحَدًا عَلَى الْهِجْرَةِ حَتَّى يَسْأَلَهُ «أَعْبُدٌ هُوَ؟ »
English Translation
Al-Fadl bin Al-Hubab Al-Jumahi narrated to us, saying: Abu Al-Walid Al-Tayalisi narrated to us, saying: Layth bin Sa'd narrated to us, saying: Yazid bin Abi Habib narrated to me that Muslim bin Jundub narrated to him from Hakam bin Mina from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Complete the first row, then the next, and if there is to be any deficiency, let it be in the last row."
