English Translation
Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Azdi narrated to us, saying: Ishaq bin Ibrahim narrated to us, saying: Jarir informed us from Mansur from Abu Wa'il from Abdullah that he used to remind the people every Thursday. A man said: I wish you would remind us every day. He said: "As for that, nothing prevents me from doing so except the fear that I might bore you. Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would choose certain days to admonish us for fear of causing us boredom."
