أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ سَلْمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِي مَعْبَدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ كَانَ رَدِيفُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَوَقَفَ يُهَلِّلُ وَيُكَبِّرُ اللَّهَ وَيَدْعُوهُ فَلَمَّا نَفَرَ دَفَعَ النَّاسُ فَصَاحَ «عَلَيْكُمُ السَّكِينَةَ» فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ الشِّعْبَ إِهْرَاقَ الْمَاءَ وَتَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ رَكِبَ فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ الْمُزْدَلِفَةَ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ فَلَمَّا صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ وَقَفَ فَلَمَّا نَفَرَ دَفَعَ النَّاسَ فَقَالَ حِينَ دَفَعُوا «عَلَيْكُمُ السَّكِينَةَ» وَهُوَ كَافٌّ رَاحِلَتَهُ حَتَّى إِذَا دَخَلَ بَطْنَ مِنًى قَالَ «عَلَيْكُمْ بِحَصَى الْخَذْفِ الَّذِي يُرْمَى بِهِ الْجَمْرَةَ» وَهُوَ فِي ذَلِكَ يُهِلُّ حَتَّى رَمَى الْجَمْرَةَ
English Translation
Hadrat al-Fadl ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated through Ibn Abbas that he was riding behind the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), and he (the Prophet) stood there reciting the Tahlil and Takbir and supplicating to Allah. When he departed (from Arafah), the people rushed, so he called out: «Maintain tranquility!» When he reached the ravine, he dismounted and urinated, then performed ablution and rode again. When he arrived at Muzdalifah, he combined Maghrib and Isha prayers. After praying Fajr, he stood (for supplication), and when he departed, the people rushed, so he said when they pushed forward: «Maintain tranquility!» — while restraining his mount. When he entered the valley of Mina, he stated: «Use the pebbles of Khadhf (the size that is thrown with two fingers) with which the Jamrah is pelted.» Throughout this he was reciting the Talbiyah until he pelted the Jamrah.
Urdu Translation
حضرت فضل بن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے ابن عباس کے واسطے سے روایت ہے کہ وہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی سواری پر پیچھے سوار تھے، اور آپ نے وقوف کیا اور تہلیل، تکبیر اور اللہ سے دعا فرمائی۔ جب آپ روانہ ہوئے تو لوگوں نے تیزی کی، تو آپ نے فرمایا: «تم پر سکون لازم ہے!» جب آپ گھاٹی میں پہنچے تو پیشاب کے لیے اترے، پھر وضو فرمایا اور سوار ہوئے۔ جب آپ مزدلفہ پہنچے تو مغرب اور عشاء اکٹھی پڑھیں۔ جب فجر پڑھی تو وقوف فرمایا، اور جب آپ روانہ ہوئے تو لوگوں نے تیزی کی، تو آپ نے فرمایا: «تم پر سکون لازم ہے!» — اور آپ اپنی سواری کو روکے ہوئے تھے۔ جب آپ منیٰ کی وادی میں داخل ہوئے تو ارشاد فرمایا: «خذف کے کنکر لو (جو دو انگلیوں سے مارے جاتے ہیں) جن سے جمرہ کو رمی کی جاتی ہے۔» اور اس تمام دوران آپ تلبیہ پڑھتے رہے یہاں تک کہ جمرہ کو رمی فرمائی۔
