أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «شَهْرَا عِيدٍ لَا يَنْقُصَانِ رَمَضَانُ وَذُو الْحِجَّةِ»
English Translation
Al-Hasan ibn Sufyan narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn 'Arfah narrated to us, Wahb ibn Jarir narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Simak, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was the most generous of people, and he was most generous in Ramadan when Jibril would meet him. Jibril would meet him every night in Ramadan and study the Quran with him. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was more generous with good than the blowing wind.
Urdu Translation
ہمیں حسن بن سفیان نے خبر دی، ہمیں ابراہیم بن عرفہ نے حدیث سنائی، ہمیں وہب بن جریر نے حدیث سنائی، ہمیں شعبہ نے حدیث سنائی، سماک سے، عکرمہ سے، حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے، انہوں نے کہا: نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم لوگوں میں سب سے زیادہ سخی تھے، اور آپ رمضان میں سب سے زیادہ سخی ہوتے تھے جب جبریل آپ سے ملتے۔ جبریل رمضان میں ہر رات آپ سے ملتے اور آپ کے ساتھ قرآن کا دور کرتے۔ تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بھلائی میں چلنے والی ہوا سے بھی زیادہ سخی ہوتے۔»
