أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى بِالْمَوْصِلِ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ سَجَّادَةٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ أَبِي حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «تَعِسَ عَبْدُ الدِّينَارِ وَعَبْدُ الدِّرْهَمِ وَعَبْدُ الْقَطِيفَةِ وَعَبْدُ الْخَمِيصَةِ إِنْ أُعْطِيَ رَضِيَ وَإِنْ مُنِعَ سَخِطَ»
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Wretched is the slave of the dinar, wretched is the slave of the dirham, wretched is the slave of the velvet cloak, and wretched is the slave of the embroidered garment. If he is given, he is pleased, and if he is not given, he is displeased.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: 'ہلاک ہو دینار کا غلام، ہلاک ہو درہم کا غلام، ہلاک ہو مخملی چادر کا غلام، اور ہلاک ہو دھاری دار چادر کا غلام۔ اگر اسے دیا جائے تو خوش ہو اور اگر نہ دیا جائے تو ناراض ہو۔'
