أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي يَعْفُورٍ عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ صُبَيْحٍ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ «كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْعَشْرُ أَيْقَظَ أَهْلَهُ وأَحْيَى اللَّيْلَ وَشَدَّ الْمِئْزَرَ»
English Translation
Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat A'ishah (may Allah be well pleased with her) narrated: "When the last ten [nights of Ramadan] would enter, the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would wake his family, enliven the night [in worship], and tighten his lower garment."
Urdu Translation
اُمّ المؤمنین حضرت عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے، فرمایا: «جب رمضان کے آخری دس دن شروع ہوتے تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اپنے اہل خانہ کو جگاتے، رات کو (عبادت میں) زندہ رکھتے اور تہبند کس کر باندھ لیتے۔»
