أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَوْلَا أَنْ لَا تَدَافَنُوا لَدَعَوْتُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يُسْمِعَكُمْ عَذَابَ الْقَبْرِ»
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Were it not that you would stop burying one another, I would have supplicated to Allah to make you hear the punishment of the grave.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: 'اگر یہ نہ ہوتا کہ تم دفنانا چھوڑ دو گے تو میں اللہ سے دعا کرتا کہ وہ تمہیں عذاب قبر سنائے۔'
