أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنِ أَسْمَاءَ قَالَتْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَتَاقَةِ فِي صَلَاةِ الْكُسُوفِ»
English Translation
Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) said: «The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed the eclipse prayer and stood for a long time, then he bowed for a long time, then he stood up for a long time but it was less than the first standing, then he bowed for a long time but it was less than the first bowing, then he prostrated, then he did the same in the second unit. When the sun became clear, he said: 'Indeed the sun and the moon are two signs from the signs of Allah, they do not eclipse due to the death or life of anyone. When you see that, pray and give charity.' Then he said: 'I saw my place (in Paradise), and I was about to take from its fruits. And if I had taken it, you would have eaten from it as long as this world remains.'»
Urdu Translation
اسماء بنت ابی بکر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے فرمایا: «نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے سورج گرہن کی نماز پڑھی اور طویل عرصے تک کھڑے رہے، پھر طویل عرصے تک رکوع کیا، پھر طویل عرصے تک کھڑے ہوئے لیکن یہ پہلے قیام سے کم تھا، پھر طویل عرصے تک رکوع کیا لیکن یہ پہلے رکوع سے کم تھا، پھر سجدہ کیا، پھر دوسری رکعت میں بھی ایسا ہی کیا۔ جب سورج صاف ہو گیا تو آپ نے فرمایا: 'بے شک سورج اور چاند اللہ تعالیٰ کی نشانیوں میں سے دو نشانیاں ہیں، یہ کسی کی موت یا زندگی کی وجہ سے نہیں گرہن ہوتے۔ جب تم ایسا دیکھو تو نماز پڑھو اور صدقہ کرو۔' پھر آپ نے فرمایا: 'میں نے اپنا مقام (جنت میں) دیکھا اور میں اس کے پھلوں میں سے لینے والا تھا۔ اور اگر میں لے لیتا تو تم اس سے کھاتے جب تک یہ دنیا باقی رہتی۔'»
