أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ فِيلٍ الْبَالِسِيُّ أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ إِمَامُ مَسْجِدِ الْجَامِعِ بِأَنْطَاكِيَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ الْبَاهِلِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُمَارَةَ بْنَ غَزِيَّةَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا دَخَلَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَسْجِدَ فَلَا يَجْلِسْ فِيهِ حَتَّى يَرْكَعَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ»
English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Allah the Exalted said: Every deed of the son of Adam is for him - the good deed is multiplied ten times up to seven hundred times. Allah the Exalted said: Except fasting, for it is for Me and I will reward for it. He leaves his desire and his food for My sake. The fasting person has two moments of joy: when he breaks his fast he rejoices, and when he meets his Lord he rejoices. And the smell of the mouth of a fasting person is better with Allah than the scent of musk.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابو قتادہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کوئی مسجد میں داخل ہو تو اس میں نہ بیٹھے یہاں تک کہ دو رکعتیں پڑھ لے۔
