أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَعْمَى عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَأَى شَيْطَانًا وَهُوَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَأَخَذَهُ فَخَنَقَهُ حَتَّى وَجَدَ بَرْدَ لِسَانِهِ عَلَى يَدِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ ﷺ «لَوْلَا دَعْوَةُ أَخِي سُلَيْمَانَ لَأَصْبَحَ مُوثَقًا حَتَّى يَرَاهُ النَّاسُ»
English Translation
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Aishah (may Allah be well pleased with her) that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) saw a shaytan while he was in the prayer. He seized him and choked him until he felt the coldness of his tongue on his hand. Then he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Were it not for the supplication of my brother Sulayman, he would have been tied up for people to see in the morning.'
Urdu Translation
اُمّ المؤمنین حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے نماز میں ایک شیطان دیکھا۔ آپ نے اسے پکڑا اور اس کا گلا دبایا یہاں تک کہ آپ نے اس کی زبان کی ٹھنڈک اپنے ہاتھ پر محسوس کی۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: 'اگر میرے بھائی سلیمان کی دعا نہ ہوتی تو وہ بندھا ہوا صبح تک رہتا اور لوگ اسے دیکھتے۔'
