أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنَا وَمَا يَتَخَلَّفُ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ إِلَّا مُنَافِقٌ قَدْ عُلِمَ نِفَاقُهُ أَوْ مَرِيضٌ وَإِنْ كَانَ الْمَرِيضُ لَيَمُرُّ بَيْنَ الرَّجُلَيْنِ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ الصَّلَاةَ وَقَالَ «إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَلَّمَنَا سُنَنَ الْهُدَى وَمِنْ سُنَنِ الْهُدَى الصَّلَاةُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الَّذِي يُؤَذَّنُ فِيهِ»
English Translation
Hadrat Abdullah (ibn Mas'ud) (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: I have seen us, and none would stay behind from the prayer except a hypocrite whose hypocrisy was known or a sick person. Even the sick one would walk between two men until he came to the prayer. And he said: "Indeed, the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) taught us the paths of guidance, and among the paths of guidance is praying in the mosque where the adhan is called."
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ (ابن مسعود) رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے فرمایا: میں نے دیکھا کہ نماز سے کوئی پیچھے نہ رہتا مگر وہ منافق جس کا نفاق معلوم تھا یا بیمار شخص۔ بیمار بھی دو آدمیوں کے سہارے چل کر نماز میں آتا۔ اور فرمایا: "بے شک رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ہمیں ہدایت کی سنتیں سکھائیں اور ہدایت کی سنتوں میں سے اس مسجد میں نماز پڑھنا ہے جہاں اذان دی جاتی ہے۔"
